For the last few days of 2016 we rang in the New Year with an adventure in the Adirondack High Peaks Wilderness. This an annual tradition, if your interested in joining next year, let us know. The time spent free of cell phones, internet and the noise of everyday life is re-energizing.

Along with the video, we have a great write up by MPF Coach, Elizabeth Azze about the MPF 4th Annual Slide Mountain Winter Adventure in the Catskills of New York, click here

We were up in the Adirondack High Peaks Region of New York around New Years of 2010. We snowshoed around 6 hours each day, summited Mt. Marcy and visited Avalanche Lake.

We shot this video on 2/26/10. The day before we had received a couple of inches of fresh snow & as the night came, it quickly turned into a blizzard, blasting us with over a foot of additional snow. The next morning we headed to Harriman State Park and had the opportunity to snowshoe in 32+ inches of fresh powder!
