An Adirondack 2017 New Years Winter Adventure!
We spent the last few days of 2016 in the Adirondacks High Peaks Wilderness and rang in the New Year with an awesome winter adventure. The time spent away in the wilderness, free of cell phones, internet and the day to day routine is very beneficial for one’s health, fitness level and wellbeing. Always remember that safety is paramount when heading into the backcountry, especially during the winter months. It requires strong navigational skills and high levels of fitness. Always carry a hard copy map, compass and appropriate gear.
