  • Creating strength for both life and sport

Here at MPF we focus on teaching you how to move well and creating strength that is both necessary for life and sport. We focus on your movement patterns and address any weak links such as mobility limitations, compensations, imbalances and injuries.

Your workouts are just part of your training plan, we also address your nutrition, sleep habits, posture, recoverability, stress management, digestive health and mental well being in order to give you the best chance at reaching your goals and making fitness and wellness a life long pursuit.

About your REMOTE Personal Training Sessions

Sessions are 55-60 minutes long and you will meet with your coach/trainer using video calling services such as Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc. You can meet 1 day a week or up to 3 - 5 times per week depending on availability and goals. Once you commit, fill out our Athlete Profile Questionnaire and then connect your Training Peaks account with your coach. If you don’t have a TP account, you can create one or we can set it up for you. This is where you will find your scheduled and completed workouts.

MPF is truly a breed apart! No one will mistake me for an elite athlete, I lack the balance of a gymnast, the grace of a dancer, and the strength of a football player. Nonetheless, after our exercise I feel their equal
— Eric
This morning, I did everything you suggested, right down to running a mile to warm up just before the race. The result was that I shaved a full minute and 26 seconds off my previous best!
— Mark
I have learned a lot about nutrition, hydration, and recovery which play very important roles in helping an athlete perform at his or her peak level. I can’t say enough good things about Joe & Mountain Peak Fitness.
— Marianne
My goal for many years had been to run a 50 mile race. I would never have been able to accomplish this without Elizabeth’s expertise, encouragement, training and support. She helped me rehabilitate injuries I thought I was destined to live with.
— Ilene
Thanks to Elizabeth’s training plan, not only was I mentally and physically prepared for The North Face 50 come race day but I was running pain free for the first time in my life!
— Ali
I met Elizabeth in July of 2007 when I got worried about getting out of breath just going up one flight of stairs. When I met her, I could barely do 10 minutes on the elliptical, and I am now about to run the New York City Marathon!
