The Mountain Peak Fitness and Red Newt Racing Team had a wonderful weekend in October teaching and coaching at the Salomon & Arc'teryx Trail Running Camp in the Shawnagunks! This was the 1st trail running camp organized by Salomon & Arc'teryx.
Fun times tackling the icy trails of Harriman State Park on the 1st day of WINTER! With the trail conditions constantly changing this time of year, from snow to different variations of ice, it's imperative to carry dependable traction devices.
With winter weather finally back in the forecast, we'd thought it was a great time to share this fun video we put together while testing out the Salomon X Ultra Mid 2 SPIKES. Today we took the Salomon SPEEDCROSS 5 for a little test run. The SPEEDCROSS is designed specifically for when your training day involves running up and down hills through muddy, soft loose terrain. My first impression was wow, these are beautiful, do I really have to get them dirty 🙂.
