The 10th Running of the Manitou's Revenge is in the Books!

It was a truly epic weekend at the 10th running of the Manitou’s Revenge! Congratulations to all of the runners and a huge thank you to the volunteers who braved the wild weather and conditions to make this race possible. Without you, days like this wouldn’t exist.

We had last year's winner, Steven Lange out on course capturing some of the action. Steve did a great job of capturing the technical terrain and talking with participants who were moving along this truly epic course!

The magic of ultra running/trail running is the community it brings together, some have raced this every year since inception. Some PR’d after their 9th running, shout out to Jay Lemos! MPF Coach Ben Nephew finished his 6th run in the top 10, then raced an Enduro MTB the next day! Since Coach Ben has added competitive mtb to his routine, he still shows up strong to trail races, his longevity in sport is inspiring.

Congrats to all of our coaching clients who finished this insane challenge, some for the very first time! I’m sure they’ll be back year after year! Thank you to all RD’s who keep these races going year after year, some races have been going for 50 years or more, now that's a love of community. Here is a little video we put together. Enjoy!

From the RD Charlie Gadol - “2023 was the rainiest Manitou’s Revenge ever! It was also our tenth edition, since we missed 2020. Due to a new start location, the course was about 1.3 miles shorter than in previous years. The wet and sloppy trails did not seem to deter our fastest runners, as the top eight runners were all under 13 hours. Kehr Davis won for an unprecedented fifth time in 13:49:41, insuring her legendary status! Amy DeMarco took second in 14:37:30, her second podium finish. Newcomer Michele Zandona was third in 15:34:48. For the men’s victory, Daniel Grip made it look easy in 10:46:08, his second win. Joey Miller came all the way from Illinois to take second in 11:28:16, and Jay Lemos placed third in 11:48:26, his first podium finish.” RD Charlie Gadol
