A Little Recap from the 2019 Manitou's Revenge

Last Saturday at this time folks were still climbing there way up and down the trails of the infamous Manitou’s Revenge 54 mile run. This race embodies the grassroots culture of ultra trail running and is definitely a must do event!

This year marked our 7th year organizing/sponsoring 2 aid stations, (Dutchers Notch backcountry aid station), shout out to the NYC Firefighters! The North South Lake aid station is where the party really got started with a fun hula theme! Thank you to RDs Charlie Gadol, Mike Siudy and all of the volunteers, without them there really wouldn’t be a race!

We had many members of the MPF RNR team, MPF adventure club and clients on trail, it really felt like a family reunion. Congratulations to all who toed the line, we hope to see you next year!

Below is a short video that includes two ultra life members Husband and Wife duo, Scott livingston and Debbie Livingston, both set a great example of health & longevity in the sport. They are heavily involved in giving back to the community by being active in the Shenipsit Striders and various trail maintaining associations. It was a treat to see Scott on his feet moving strong as his first love is cycling and of course Deb who has been killing it for over 15 years or more.
