Trail Condition Update + The North Face Challenge!

Just this past week the trails were still covered in snow with about 4+ inches in Harriman State Park. As of today, the Ringwood & Ramapo Trails are free and clear of snow but are very wet from the combination of snow melt and rains that we have been having lately.

Today was a soggy one so the trail system will need to dry out before any MTB use. As far as our trail runners are concerned, get off the treadmills and roads, get outside and hit the trails! We will be up in Harriman State Park tomorrow; which is home to over 200 miles of trails, to check on them and see how they are shaping up for the The North Face Endurance Challenge being held there on April 14th.

The NFEC is an ultra marathon consisting of a 50 mile trail running race.  There will also be a 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon.  So with this race being so close to home in a beautiful area that many do not know about and being put on by a premier sponsor such as North Face, sign up and enjoy an action packed day!  We will be there!  Click below for transportation info.  M.P.F.
