I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. I was a swimmer and diver in high school, but started running Cross Country my Junior year. I moved to Savannah, GA in 2005 where I continued to run Cross Country and got my BFA in Graphic Design from SCAD. I started to get into distance running after college. I moved back to Rochester, and ran my first Marathon in 2012... then 5 more in 2013.

My goal was to dedicate 2014 to running trails. But curiosity sucked me into a 12 hour looped race. I ran my first Ultra at Mind the Ducks - 55.66 miles.

Since then I've been addicted to the challenge of Ultra running. I live for long days. Not sleeping. Feeling the highs and lows. The 2nd, 3rd... 5th winds. Finding you have so much unexpected support, and training partners that become family.

I've learned to never know what to expect. My goal is to keep being consistent. Keep finishing, and finish well.

I am looking forward to running and adventuring with the Mountain Peak Fitness/Red Newt Racing team! It will be a motivating factor in pushing me to the next level.
