I'm a Rochester, NY native who grew up on the single track trails of upstate New York. Last January I made the move down to Northeast PA to try my hand at coaching and complete my master's in education at DeSales University. Ever since, I have learned to love rocks and have torn through all of my shoes. Luckily, Natalie Thompson sold me some new ones.

I've competed in cross-country and track since the 8th grade. At first, I took up cross-country to get into shape for hockey, but soon realized that 5'8" and 120lbs didn't get you very far on the ice. So, running it was, with some cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the side. After high school I went on to compete for SUNY Geneseo, where I had the pleasure of racing under the legendary Mike Woods. I won one the race, lost the rest, and got a stress fracture in my femur.

Despite never truly racing on the trails early on, I trained off road whenever possible and always excelled on the muddiest cross-country courses. Upon graduating and in seek of new challenges, I've dove full-on into trail racing. So far, it's been a hell of a ride full of incredible trails, races, and the best kind of people. I run for the love of competition and the challenge that the trail brings. I'm thrilled to keep chasing my goals and seeking new challenges and adventures with the MPF RNR Trail Running Team.
