GPS, Heart Rate Monitors, Power Meters & Devices

Using a GPS, HR Monitor, Power Meter or just a watch that simple tracks you pace, will be an added benefit to your workouts and will allow us to see deeper into your training for enhanced coaching and feedback. With the combination of your RPE (Rating perceived exertion) and a device that tracks some of your training data in real time, will give you a better understanding to your prescribed training loads, intensity and effort. We recommend all of our clients to use a GPS & HR capable device.

Apple Watch Series 4  - This watch is now fully waterproof and adds GPS with cellular to the watch so you can head out to train without your iPhone. Features wrist based heart rate monitoring that has improved greatly from previous models. Battery life in full training/gps mode is 6-8 hours of full use. The watch in general lasts 24+ hours. It also records HRV and is a great sleep tracking tool.
