OUTDOOR PERSONAL TRAINING - Training outside will allow your session to be more diverse, dynamic, creative and it will add more variety, while integrating many other training modalities into your workout. This will stimulate you both physically and mentally with a fresh new approach to your goals. What can be accomplished indoors can easily be accomplished outdoors and more. This is not just a seasonal idea, this can be a year round approach, whether snow or below zero, we can train outdoors if your up to it.

ROAD RUNNING - If your interested in integrating a running program into your fitness regimen, outside is where you need to be. Whether its a run in Central Park or your local neighborhood, we can be there. We will guide and insure that you know the running essentials that will help you excel and be the best runner that you can be. From the fit of your shoes, running gait, cadence, stride length, breathing & nutritional considerations, we will take you in the right direction. If your new to the sport or a runner looking for a new personal best we can help you reach new heights in your running.

TRAIL RUNNING - Are you ready to take your running to another level? Are you looking to explore new things and challenge yourself to reach new possibilities? Come join us at the nearest trail head where we will introduce you to your new training grounds. Mentally and physically you will be challenged to explore your limits and abilities like you never imagined. You will be more immersed and connected within the moment then you have ever have before. MOUNTAIN BIKING - With some of the best trails in the country within the Tri-State area, Mountain Biking can be a great addition to your training, if its not already. If your a seasoned mountain biker or new to the sport, we can efficiently and effectively guide you towards your training goals & objectives. We will educate you in the essentials of Mountain Biking by teaching you the proper skills for descending, negotiating technical terrain, proper climbing techniques, nutritional & hydration considerations, mountain bike maintenance and the proper strength & conditioning approach to make your time out on the trails a success.

ROAD CYCLING - There is no better way to see the world then on a bike! We will be out there training along side you, every pedal stroke, offering advice, training techniques & principles, along with encouragement as you climb your way to health. Cycling can be done either on the quiet roads that we recommend in your area or on the vast array of Mountain Bike trails that can be found in the tri-state area.

HIKING / TREKKING / SNOWSHOEING - Truly, one of the best ways to condition the human body is by walking for long arduous times, aggressively on trails within our parks, forests and reservations. We have many variations to our Treks so that we make your hiking experience enjoyable, rewarding and goal oriented. From general hiking, fast packing, mountain climbing to snowshoeing, we offer many opportunities to get out and train on the trails.

Whether you’re looking for an effective training program suitable for your running, cycling or multi-sport needs (trail running, mountain biking, ultrarunning, hiking, mountaineering, etc.), set new heights within your level of health/fitness or to rehabilitate an injury, we can guide you in the right direction.

We will bring the training to you. Whether at your home, place of business or at one of our outdoor training grounds, will be there to accomplish your training objectives.

TRAINING OPTION ONE -  INDOOR TRAINING

24 HOUR PERSONAL TRAINING CANCELATION POLICY:


Cancelations are not recommended. If you find that you need to cancel or re-schedule your training appointment, please provide a 24 Hour Notice to avoid being charged for the session and having to complete a 10 mile run with a 20 pound vest on... This will allow us to adjust our schedules accordingly.

Mountain Peak Fitness

INDOOR PERSONAL TRAINING - There is no need to drive or leave to go anywhere for your training, we will bring the training to your door. Whether its in your home or your place of business, we can accommodate your training needs. Training at home will save you valuable time, help with the consistency of your training and allow you to reach your goals more effectively. Depending on the location, all equipment can be provided. We recommend a few equipment essentials that will help assist you in reaching your training goals.

  1. Personal training sessions last from 60 minutes to several hours, depending on your experience, fitness level, training objective and goals.


CYCLING TRAINING - In a one on one setting or group, we can condition you to improve your fitness and health by training you on the bike indoors. Each session will be tailored toward your specific goals that you have for the trails or road. This can be accomplished by setting your current bike on a trainer or rollers and you can also use a spin bike or similar. This is a great option to have during the cold winter months when the roads become to dangerous to venture out on and you find motivation hard to come across. The use of a Heart Rate Monitor and Power Meter allows the training session to be more guided but is not necessary.

  1. Indoor cycling sessions last from 60 minutes to several hours, depending on your experience, fitness level, training objective and goals.


RUN TRAINING - In a one on one setting or group we can condition you to improve your fitness and health by training you while your running takes place on a treadmill, in a hallway or on the stairs. We will guide you in a running program during each session that is tailored toward your specific goals. This is a great option to have when you can’t get outside for your run. The use of a Heart Rate Monitor allows the session to be more guided but is not necessary.

  1. Indoor running sessions last from 60 minutes to several hours, depending on your experience, fitness level, training objective and goals.

TRAINING OPTION THREE - ONLINE TRAINING

ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING - We integrate our online personal training and online coaching programs to properly guide the motivated athlete or client with the right training and conditioning program that is designed for their lifestyle and individual goals. Online training journals, training charts, exercise video library and questionnaires are just a few of the tools you will have access to.

ONLINE VIDEO CHAT SESSIONS - One on one training sessions can interactively be achieved through the use of iChat (APPLE), Google Video Chat or similar. We have successfully used this format of training with clients outside the tri-state area. This is also a great option for the traveling athlete or client. All you need is an internet connection and a video camera thats integrated into your computer or a peripheral video component.
